Rust Desktop - Access denied ?

Dear Community,

here's a beginners question:
I installed Rust Desktop (FOSS-alternative to Teamviewer, see https://rustdesk.com/de/). When trying to (temporarily) give the necessary permissions, I get the answer "access denied". There seems to be some information how to allow access, but clicking on this option remains without effect. (see the image below in german:

Running GrapheneOS with latest stable release on Pixel 9 pro XL.

You need to enable something in the android setting somewhere (I don't read German), you cannot access it directly

Go in settings, applications, RustDesk, then you will see special permissions needed.

thanks for your reply. Every permission is given to the app, even "access all files". The problem is tied to the "special app access", in there, the option "blend in over other apps" (roughly translated from german) should be activated, but this precisely is not possible. If I click the switch, the above mentioned error "access denied" is shown.
So far, I can't find anything how to circumvent this.
Another idea?

Are you using it in the owner profile?

I had a different issue with special settings for one app I use only in the secondary profile and it was not possible unless I had the app (1) installed in the owner profile and (2) this special permission granted in there; (3) only then I was able to grant it in the secondary profile.

Yes, it is only in the "owner"-profile and in no secondary. Never had that issue with any other app in this profile ...
With all other apps, there is no problem to switch on/off this special permission, only with rustdesk so far.

granx If you tap and hold your finger on the Rustdesk app icon in the drawer or on your homescreen, you can choose the option "App info".
Tap on it, and check the upper right corner of that menu. There should be 3 dots in a vertical line.
Tap on those and allow restricted permissions for the app in question.
After that you can enable those restricted permissions.
