Andy3153 Default Clock app with default sounds should work even in BFU. Just tested. Perhaps something you omitted to mention.

Perhaps that is something that one can try to reproduce. But a reboot normally takes much less than 30 minutes.

And, if we are discussing backup methods… I think buying an analog alarm clock is cheaper than buying a second phone.

Yeah, exactly. What I was wondering is, if the phone was rebooting during, say, the first alarm, could it just break the entire alarm schedule because one alarm didn't ring?

I might just set an alarm on my watch too. But it's weird that an alarm can just not ring, and it's happened multiple times (at least 5 times in my entire life using Android) to me on different phones and different ROMs. A while ago I just tried blaming the random weird ROMs I was using back in 2017-2021, but it was nothing consistent back then either. Or before that time, or after that time. Just, sometimes, very rarely, it won't ring.

IDK if you use that "gradually increase volume" function. but i'm fairly sure ive read on this forum about alarms not going off after a reboot (being silent) if phones goes to BFU after a autoreboot if its on (silly glitch imo). but always work if it off. could maybe be what happened?

Actually, yesterday it might've just happened again partially. I had four alarms once again, this time at 8:30, 8:45, 8:52 and 9:00. The first two did not ring, but the last two did with no issues.

Currently I woke up an hour earlier than my alarms accidentally so I am just going to spy my phone right now without touching it

Andy3153 if it's still happening you can try clearing the clock app's storage to see if that helps.

Just did two days ago. Can't really say if it helps because I'm not going to be needing alarms this often now. All I can say is that the one time I needed it since it worked.

I've experienced the same - thought I was going crazy. My alarm volume also randomly gets lowered and I cannot figure out why.

abdullah now you got me paranoid. I didn't move my alarms from my old Phone's Sleep As Android yet (I don't use stock alarms as I find it severely limited), but I rely on it.
Sure I have the most important alarms duplicated on my watch, but I'd rather not have a pretty critical functionality that unreliable.
At least the issue with BFU won't apply in my case, but still....

I had this happen to me before. My Auto reboot time was the reason why in my instance, not sure if it's the same for you but once I pushed mine to 8 I never had this happen to me again. Open to correction but that's what it was for me. Sorry to hear you missed your exam :/
