Wanted to share. I heard the news that PayPal allows tap to pay contactless and gave it a try. And it just worked on graphene. 😅

I have all my banking apps in the separate user profile (because they spy on the list of the installed apps, at least here), but I could allow Paypal in the Private Space if that worked for the payments (I don't want Thiel's app in the main profile :) )

Why should GOS be blocked?
Other banking apps work fine without any google services on GOS, so there is no point that PayPal should block anything.

You should ask them to unpin this post then https://discuss.grapheneos.org/d/8330-app-compatibility-with-grapheneos. It's well known that companies and governments need no reason to block GOS except to make it seem like they're doing something for 'security'

PaPal and Google are mit friends anymore. That is the reason why PayPal do his own solution. PayPal is not longer working in Google wallet
