Hello,

I have system storage taking up 55GB of space, close to 45% of my storage, and unable to use any of that space. I have about 3GB of free space and a game app tried downloading 4GB of game content which eventually fails saying there is not enough space. I also tried making a video with google camera and it eventually stops recording once it hits roughly 2GB, saying I don't have enough space. Looking at a stock android phone it should be less than 20GB of system storage space taking, How do I fix this problem?

I was referred to post here about the problem instead of the issue tracker
https://github.com/GrapheneOS/os-issue-tracker/issues/1788

Sounds like you might need to remove some apps or user data if your phone is a 64GB model. Just for clarity, are you saying that Settings > Storage is showing 55GB under the System (OS) category, or just 55GB is used overall?

For what it's worth, I have a 256GB model and am showing 15GB under System, 11GB under Apps and just under 40GB in user data (docs, images, etc).

[deleted] Hi there, thanks for the screenshot!

Could you please let me know whether you use one user profile (owner) or multiple? If multiple, how many profiles do you use?

Furthermore, could you please clear browser data for Vanadium in your profile(s) and let me know if you notice a significant change?

    Looking forward to your reply.

Okay I think I understand why it shows that System is 55GB. Once I logged into the google profile the system data usage updated to 15GB in the owner profile, I thought I deleted all the data off the google profile but I guess I missed that. So this is resolved for me now.
