No two, in private space and a second profile, I don't use sandboxed google play in the main profile.

DeletedUser313 Maybe I don't know, but honestly I don't see the point of using Aurora store, which requires signature spoofing and shares user profiles, which is forbidden in Google's terms of use. It's not at all better for security, in fact it's worse, and there's no advantage in terms of privacy protection.

Developers can collect user data just from installs, I wonder if Aurora Store (guest profile) could prevent that

Why's it worse? The app itself is unmodified right? (And if the account is shared the install statistics can't be traced back to the user, that's what I assumed)

DeletedUser313 Applications on Aurora can be maliciously modified with the signature spoofing, it used to bypass signature verification. This subverts the security model and breaks the application sandbox as an app can now masquerade itself as another app to gain access to the app's files, In a system with signature spoofing, it's impossible to know anything, there is no way to trust that an application is genuinely what it claims to be, and it is impossible to build a strong security model upon this. Another problem is account sharing. Aurora Store is not recommended at all, it was used when Sandboxed Google play was not available, Sandboxed google play must be used instead of Aurora.

That sounds horrible, may I ask if Accrescent allows one to download all free apps on the Play Store?

DeletedUser313 I'm not sure I understood your question, Accrescent is an independent store that has no connection with the Google Play Store, It's in its alpha phase and currently offers around thirty applications, the challenge is to convince more developers to offer their applications on Accrescent. The project lacks funding, so we must support them, it's a great project.

Apps on the same space can communicate to each other.
Apps from main space can't communicate with apps in private space or vise versa.

morgan77 Like I would use it for some socials etc but I wanna receive notifications from them and afaik it won't notify me cause the private space will be locked each time...

You can change the setting for this so that it only looks if your restart the device.
If you do this, there is no problem with receiving notification, at least not because the app runns in private space.
I use WhatsApp in private space and get notifications when someone message me there.

Oh, I thought it was an alternative for the Play Store. There is apkpure for the procurement of proprietary apps but it's quite a hassle to manually update apps

DeletedUser313 Currently, yes, the ones I've installed via the play store are proprietary apps that aren't available elsewhere, I've installed a few of them and they're not apps I like, just that I sometimes need them like my bank, some administrative stuff etc.
