goskm75f See the GrapheneOS. I think a foundation is the right solution for this kind of project. However, I don't want to criticize OrganicMaps.

CoMaps app is now available in fdroid as well as searchable, with the Codeberg repo, in Obtainium. The current SHA-256 hash is (as posted to Codeberg, not in AppVerifier):

Would like to see this in Accrescent, especially since Organic Maps was unwilling to make their FOSS version available there.. There's a Codeberg issue requesting Accrescent support.

What are the main differences between this fork, and Organic Maps? I don't see any major surface changes from quickly glancing at the readme

dangerous-orange on droidify they mention some minor improvements versus Organic maps (if you scroll down to changes). My hope would be that they implement new functions with time, due to a more active community?

By the way, does the dark mode work properly for you all? Setting it to Auto did not work reliably in organicmaps and it is also not in comaps - phone is currently in dark mode but the map is not..

Ive found the FOSS maps apps to have bad address searching. CoMaps is the first that lets me type an address in normal form of street number, street name, street, city, code. All others ask the other way and make it painful.
