grumblingpenguin Hello, for a couple of weeks now although my phone is set to charge to 80% it goes past this. On my lockscreen it will say some similar too "92% done charging" but will keep on going. Is there a fix? Thanks.
Xtreix grumblingpenguin This is expected behavior : https://discuss.grapheneos.org/d/20620-charging-optimization-80-charge-limit-recalibration-with-android-15-qpr2
Open_Source_Enjoyer grumblingpenguin Hello, for a couple of weeks now although my phone is set to charge to 80% it goes past this. On my lockscreen it will say some similar too "92% done charging" but will keep on going. Is there a fix? Thanks. It will sometimes charge to 100% to calibrate the battery.
grumblingpenguin Xtreix sorry for the delay in reply, I had to double check behaviour. Fully charged to 100% Tuesday, got to 75 ish yesterday before I had to unplug and it's currently charged to 83% and climbing now. I was aware of the calibration behaviour. Thanks.
natoal grumblingpenguin Once it reaches 100%, it needs to be allowed to stay there for a bit to truly reach full battery charge. The shield icon showing charging bypass is active will appear. After the shield appears, it will go back to not charging the battery above 80% again. So is the shield gone?
grumblingpenguin Sorry to clarify, just realised you didn't reply to my previous comment. The bypass shield never appeared the last time I charged to 100 and I left it there for a good 10 minutes but will try again tomorrow.
