I was interested in NymVPN because it was a bit of a hot topic in the Japanese privacy enthusiast community, so I looked into it from various angles.
I found no problems with the company's philosophy and transparency, so I signed up for a long-term contract and installed it on Windows, Mac, Debian, and Android to run various tests. The results showed that the app is still not polished and is a little unstable in some places.
That's the only thing I'm disappointed about.

I've been using Mullvad and IVPN for a long time, but their use of many very dangerous M247 and Datapacket servers is a major concern from a privacy perspective, and I couldn't help but be skeptical of the company's attitude.
I continued to use these two because I couldn't find any other VPN options, but I finally decided to leave Mullvad and IVPN.
It's still a new service, so it's unstable, but in my eyes, NYM's future looks bright.
I recommend you check out NymVPN. (There are still many features missing from the client app)

JPN_Tales Nym has two options: fast and anonymous. Both of these functionalities should be considered separately. In the case of the fast option, there probably won't be much difference between Mullvad and IVPN where both are very mature and stable solutions and deservedly have a solid and established position. If you are considering only this option, Nym probably won't give any particular added value here, because you can configure Mullvad to use only its own servers (without M247 and Datapacket).

In the anonymous option, Nym should be compared to Tor or similar networks, such as Lokinet or SPN. And here Nym starts to be a very interesting proposition.

I have no affiliation with Nym as one person here suggests, but I hope the Nym solution will be successful in the future. I have some concerns about the built-in crypto in Nym.
