Okay, maybe a huge update.
The original setup failed. So I turned on roaming again, but this time it finally said Telenor in the corner. This didnt happen on the previous sim card, even tho the support staff told me I was 30% of the time on the telenor grid(with roaming on).
It failing to connect to the telenor grid with roaming on probably resulted in a ghost/dead connection, results as seen. Now though Im guessing itll actually jump between the carriers the right way.
