Help please: Stuck in boot loop

Hi,
yestereday my battery ran out while I was using my mobile hotspot to stream a video.
After I attached the power cable, my phone restarted but since then has been stuck in a boot loop:
The big Grapheneos Logo appears, I touch the screen, the GUI comes up, I get to press the fingerprint sensor or key in my pin and then the Grapheneos logo comes back.
I have gone through this a couple of times to no avail. The phone was on the power cable over night, so should be fully charged now.
I long-pressed the power button so that it restarted fully and then I paused the boot at the "google" screen that tells me that the phone is loading a different operating system.
What should I do?

First attempt failed and despite booting into safe mode, the OS crashed again. But on second attempt, it worked. So, now I got back into the GUI and can access my apps. That is a big relief.

The guide under your link now says to remove the apps installed last.

Before I start doing that, I would like to understand how any of the apps could be the culprit if this all began when my battery died. Prior to that, my phone never misbehaved. What could explain the behaviour?

Secondly, is there a way to list apps sorted by when they were installed? Because it seems that it has been quite a while since I installed any apps and I am not sure what the last ones were...

You may be OK without that. But definitely back up your data right away!

It's hard to day. But running the battery flat is never a good idea (and damages the battery).
