Random restarts on Pixel 8?

Is this not just the "Auto Reboot" feature?
It can be toggled off, but is on by default at 18hr intervals...
You can find it under Settings - Security and Privacy - Exploit Protection

FaberCastell I didn't see any such feature - search came up with nothing. Is it called something else, or maybe deprecated in a newer release of Graphene?

On Occasion my P8 does this as well.

Strange, never had this issue aside from normal operations like auto-reboot feature or an OS update.

Pavestone2734 normally yes, a notification telling you something was wrong.

Did you try to reset your phone ? Or maybe flash again the OS ?

grayway2 Hasn't been giving me other problems yet but that's something to consider if this happens again. Only been running it on a new Pixel 8 since late February

Pavestone2734 I did not notice any, just looked down and saw the phone was restarting. Did not see any auto-restart feature toggle in the security settings.

New2MeOS Also check whether auto-reboot is enabled in the updater settings. It's a feature that let's the device auto reboot if it's idle after an update completes.

Settings - Security and Privacy - Exploit Protection -> Auto Reboot (1st option)

Basically it reboots the phone after a certain time it wasn't unlocked. You can still answer calls
when it's locked, so set it up based on your needs.

Strange, I don't see that in my list under exploit protection, as follows:

Hardened memory allocator
Memory tagging
Extended virtual address space
Native code debugging
WebView JIT
Dynamic code loading via memory
Dynamic code loading via storage
