L2TP/IPSec VPN

I know it's an AOSP thing, not a GOS one, but looking for a workaround.
PPP and L2TP got removed after Android 12, marking them as insecure VPN built-in types.
Any idea for a 3rd party app that can run as L2TP/IPSec client? Cisco Anyconnect is not an option.

I'm not an SW dev, but just curious if this is possible. I mean to develop an app that can connect to already existing infrastructure using L2TP/IPSec VPN. It's very strange that I can't find such a solution.
