Hi So im on a p8p Running 2025032500 Build Number however since my last update a few days ago the battery isnt evan lasting a day. Ive installed no new apps my usage hasnot changed and i can only assume its something to do with the update.

Ive turned down screen refesh and have battery saver and its loosing like 10% an hour just doing nothing.

I noted the same thing.
I went through every single app and 'forced stop'. then I restarted my phone. Now my battery significantly changed.

          How does it do this? Also, for an app to be able to do such a thing, I'd imagine it needs some very special permissions, which is probably not a good idea.

              Rkpaxam I think better approach would be disallowing app background running. You can identify culprits in Settings > Battery > Battery use.

              I would recommend turning on charging optimization and watch the battery log for about a week to get a more comprehensive picture. (If you charge to full, log resets.)

                  Apps with accessibility permissions can do a lot. I wouldn't suggest granting any app accessibility permissions unless absolutely necessary.
