  • Some problems with GOS Pixel 7

Hi everyone, some time ago I opened a post about apps getting corrupted, but no-one replied.

This happened again a couple of times, and the app (Autosync for MEGA) has been downloaded from Aurora store. The app works for a couple of days just fine, then gives error about being corrupted and resets itself. It is not modded or anything. I haven't found a solution for this yet.

The other problem or question I have is: on different profiles, all data is separated but connected to the same cloud. For example, screenshots, pictures etc are joined. What I'd like to achieve is something like automatically opening Cryptomator, encrypting contents and then uploading it to a cloud. Cryptomator does that, but not automatically.

    I don't think most applications contain code to detect state corruption and announce a reset. If this specific app does have such code, and if the detector fires with some frequency, to me it suggests that the app authors are aware that the app has issues. In turn this suggests that it might make sense to see whether there is a user forum for the app, or whether there might be comments on the Google Play store about similar problems.

    Here I am not confident that I am following the question. If the same cloud app is present in two profiles, and in each profile the app is signed into the same cloud account on the cloud app's servers, I would expect that files would be uploaded to the same cloud account. I would also suspect that if the two profiles were signed in to different accounts on the cloud app's servers that the files would be uploaded to different cloud accounts.

          For the syncing app, I still have not found out what causes that. But I'll be migrating to a private cloud I have, so I'm not too worried about that.

          For Cryptomator, maybe my writing was confusing. I don't mind if everything is connected to 1 account. But let's say I upload everything to MyCloudName/Cryptomator; and inside that folder, I have subfolders for different profiles: /Profile1, /Profile2 etc

          My question is, is it possible for cryptomator to automatically unlock respectful vault (vault 1 for main profile, vault 2 for second etc) each time I log into that profile and upload files (pictures, documents etc) that I choose to monitor from different directories?

          If not, is there another way to achieve this?

              No, automatic unlocks are not a thing in Cryptomator Android (certainly not tied to profiles). Only desktop Cryptomator has auto unlock I believe.
