Microphone always in use

Hi all,
In the last few days whenever I leave the privacy toggle on for the microphone a green dot on the top right corner stays always there indicating that the microphone is being used/accessed
I revoked mic access permissions to every app that had it, reeboted multiple times, and updated.
The green dot is still there.
Should I worry? Because I am worrying

I do use Molly but that bug should be fixed

Same here on pixel 7 and 8. Always green microphone dot despite no apps using it according to the OS itself. Since such a sign could be interpreted as a signal of compromise, I would like to know if others also still encounter this.

GrillsBear56 It's an Android 15 QPR2 UI regression, not a sign of compromise. A clear answer has been provided. It will be fixed in a near future Android release or we may figure out how to fix it ourselves sooner.
