I was performing an install on a Pixel 8 Pro using WebUSB from Vanadium on Pixel 6 Pro. It could not regardless of settings recognize device. Original new USB-C cable. Charged batteries. OEM Unlock activated. I had NOT updated the Pixel 8 Pro due to conenctivity issues. Pixel 6 Pro GrapheneOS was updated to the latest Stable version.
Bootloader unlocking step failed with:
Error: Failed to execute 'requestDevice' on 'USB': No device selected.

I tried installing from a Pixel Tablet, using Vanadium. Device was updated to the latest Stable version.
I performed the prerequisite steps and Bootloader unlocking was successful, and Download was started and completed. Flashing process failed and it hanged on "restarting device". I tried rebooting both devices and restarted the browser.
I could not get this one either to work.

I then proceeded with a Debian 12 live environment, installed the regular chromium package and followed the guide.
Everything went smoothly.

Can this be because I did not follow through with the update of the stock OS before installation?
