My guess is that this has something to do with both search engines being listed with the same name. (duckduckgo.com is listed first)

Vanadium has no support for onion services as far as I'm aware. And since its recommended not to use other browsers, I doubt that support will be added.
Dumdum I am able to access it by typing it into the browser with Orbot enabled, and it shows in the list of search engines. Vanadium's search engine picker just doesnt seem to work if two search engines have the same name, which is the issue I am bringing attention to with this post.
vincente213 I am sorry but not using onion services for web browsing without the Tor Browser is like the first point on their FAQ. I would suggest installing the Tor Browser app and investigating the feasibility and sensibility of this Orbot approach.
