Will Banking apps work after installing GrapheneOS? what to do?

How can I be sure that banking apps will work after installing GrapheneOS?

Has anyone experienced issues with banking apps on GrapheneOS, and how did they resolve them?

DynamicOzone Upon realising banking apps where just as untrustworthy as any other app i solved this problem by ceasing using them, i have found web portals to be almost as convienient without having to compromise myself.

Chipper not all can have this luxury.. for many banks app works as a transaction approving medium and/or offer options not available on the banking site.

Then it is up to the individual to choose their bank wisely, and not get blinded by the hype. My bank uses an app and also allows web banking, I choose not to use the app what so ever and internet bank as I wish, it allows access via VPN and or Tor, without issue. To be clear, it is a UK, internet only bank, that I have used for over a decade.

DeletedUser10 country/location specific. It's not all about hype. Many banks still force to use sms as additional auth mechanism, if you don't have app and you absolutely can't use vpn as you will be immediately blocked by their security monitoring tools. Am I supposed to move countries because of this?

Banking apps should work fine unless they specifically go out of their way to ban non-stock OSes.

I have a few UK bank apps and to date they all work fine. It was a worry before I installed then, but all is good.
