Sempa Well, the good news about a coordination problem is it gets easier to solve as the number of individuals who need to coordinate decreases. That's the darkly optimistic view.
Im not saying that I think this is a good thing. I'm just saying that these problems can't be completly explained by "people are dumb/bad." They're probably a little dumb/bad, but they're also subject to greater forces than they can handle. And I think once us optimists realize that, the problem becomes ever so slightly more concrete. Do we build a big boat or do we teach everyone to swim? Maybe a little bit of both? Because scolding everyone isn't going to work.
