hello. ive Thunderbird.
even tho i get emails, i never got any notification for the app. everything is set on in the notifications settings. is that a known issue?
what can i do to fix it?

      It would likely be productive to list which settings have been made.

      Also, what is the battery optimization setting for the app?

      Does it never show notifications, or just often not?

          should i check how it will be with unrestricted battery usage? at the moment it is on 'optimized'

              1. Check if you granted "Notification Permissions" for the app.
              2. In Thunderbird - check if the folder-specific notifications are enabled --> Hamburger Menu >> Manage Folder >> Pick Inbox or the folder you are looking for >> Notification (toggle).

                  If "never" then I think Oggyo 's suggestion should be followed first. If it were just "often not" then I would suggest unrestricted battery usage.

                        Check in the App Info - if the Messages notification is not set to Silent, etc.

                        i've checked already.....
                        maybe i will clear the storage and configure again..

                        if i will clear storage and re configure it might solve the problem for it?
