I currently run my owner profile strictly for app installs and updates. No work is conducted within the owner profile. All apps are distributed to the appropriate compartmentalized user through the "Install Available Apps" function within the owner profile.
I recently installed Vectras VM and the app opens and successfully conducts initial setup within the owner profile but will not function within a user profile.

The app will open, attempt to conduct setup, and then provide this error message within user profiles:
Error: Cannot run program "/data/data/com.vectras.vm/files/usr/bin/proot": error=13, Permission denied

I provided storage permission to the app and also enabled exploit protection compatibility mode but the app still lacks the correct permissions. Is there a way I can grant the required access to this file path within a user profile or am I forced to run this application within my owner profile?

After more thought, I attempted running the application within a private space in the owner profile. I still received the same error as I did under a user profile.

    rakishjeopardy I wonder whether it runs in Private Space or a secondary profile on Google's stock OS or on AOSP?
