Rand-Uzer I have used it and it was slower than a wet week
Which mode were you using? Since we prioritize privacy, NymVPN uses multi-hop routing by default (2-hop fast mode or 5-hop mixnet) - so it'll always be slower than single-hop VPNs by design.
That said, with a good connection and set of gateways, you can hit 200+ Mbps in the Fast mode, which works fine for daily browsing. The 5-hop mixnet is really meant for sensitive stuff like crypto transactions or messaging - trying to load heavy websites with it isn't going to be fun (though Wikipedia pages work fine).
Falcon Thank you, but in the given post I did not find the answer to my questions (exact answer).
I'll wait for @nym-product
As we mentioned in that thread (and detailed in our article "The Nym network"): We tackle bad actors in two ways - prevent them through community management and reputation systems, then minimize any damage through multi-hop routing and letting users pick/rotate their gateways. We're also working on attack detection, secure hardware, and other protections.
