File hosting/Syncing application

Ever since Syncthing dropped support for android last December I've been looking high and low for a replacement.
Tried Proton drive but It lacks the ability to sync files so it's near useless.

Requirements

end to end encrypted AND OR self hosted
Has undergone an independent security audit, if the app is Open source this requirement could be drooped
Supports syncing of any directory in the Shared storage space - https://developer.android.com/training/data-storage/shared

Depending a bit on which kind application it is, it would be nice if it supported the following OSes

Android
Windows
Linux
BSD

If you know any app that meets my requirement then please let me know!

I am a big fan of Syncthing as well @yellow-leaves . I use Syncthing-Fork for this purpose. It works well and is still available in F-Droid.

Well to be honest I don't really trust the developer of said fork, this is why I haven't gone down that route.
It's Important for me to the developers of an app like this has proven them self competent and that they care about security.

One specific reason for distrust is that that the targetSdkVersion was increased without testing leading to issues.
