Hello,
I flashed GOS and relocked the bootloader. I also read in the FAQ that OEM unlocking can be disabled again after installing GOS. I wonder about its implications.
As I understand it, disabling OEM unlocking makes it impossible to unlock the bootloader. But what happens if a GOS update goes wrong and I need to flash back to stock or need to flash a clean version of GOS but cannot unlock the bootloader because OEM unlocking is disabled? So i would pretty much have to hope that GOS never makes a fundamental mistake rendering devices into a bad state, right?
And what would be the advantages of disabling OEM unlocking anyways? I read that it primarily prevents ppl from flashing my phone once I lost it. But would there be any other substantial benefits?
