Can you actually source and explain this, as for most of firefox's history they have poorly addressed their security and to this day continue to permit insecurities such as MV2 extensions, or their sandbox implementation. You cannot Have Privacy without security and Chromium to this day still has better security than Firefox.

If Tor-browser were not Firefox-based, maybe this discussion would be a bit less recurring. Tor-browser is kind of covering up for Mozilla since so many seems to assume it is very secure.
