Open Google Wallet Links with alternative FOSS app for tickets and reservations

Not for paying, but for adding tickets or reservations. Does anybody know if this is possible? Maybe there is a solution out there which I'm not aware of.

I guess it works similar to opening youtube links with a unofficial app. But with Google Wallet some FQDNs are greyed out.

Also I found Quick Access Wallet which seems to be a purely AOSP feature, but it needs a NFC payment app. It doesn't have to be Google Wallet. It could be Catima or OSS Card Wallet if they would appear to the system as a NFC payment app and support these domains, right?

Has anybody found a solution?

EDIT: Sorry if this is already working on latest. I'm still on Pixel 4a and wanting to update soon-ish. Waiting for the Pixel 10 release to make the decision what my phone successor will be.
