I noticed when I am in one user/profile, and I switch users (via the notification drop down). It default the prompt for user password/PIN, even if I have a fingerprint set.

Does this happen for everyone? Is there any way to default it to the fingerprint first, it should only fall back to the password/PIN if the fingerprint fails.

Workaround: If I press the power button twice, so the screen goes off and on, then it will ask me for my fingerprint first, this is the intended behavior.

I only ask this, because my password is long. I want to secure myself in case there is a 0-day that allows brute force.

brando how many fingerprints per profile do you have set up? It is a know android bug that if you have more than two it miss behave. The suggestion I have seen in the forum is to keep 2 fingerprints per profile at max, to achieve a smooth behavior, and to be consistent with fingerprints number in each profile also (e.g. set up 2 fingerprints, not more nor less, on each profile in use).

Thanks, I had 2 fingerprints per profile, I've reduced to 1 per profile.

Also upgraded to the latest software, the one that supports 2FA PIN.

It's working great so far. (maybe I'll add back 2 fingerprints later if I get no issues).
