DeletedUser60 I use Brave until Vanadium will be published for everyone outside of GrapheneOS and I wanted to ask @GrapheneOS when it will be available? My Browser is the only thing I could improve, when it comes to my Apps. And I would rather like to use Vanadium instead of Brave...
JollyRancher Basically never. Vanadium's security hardening is partially reliant on the pixel hardware and OS hardening that GOS provides. Vanadium outside of that hardware and software environment would be substantially less secure.
DeletedUser60 JollyRancher That's not true, because they told that they eventually plan to publish it for everyone. But I agree, that it would be less secure. At least, it would probably be more secure, than Brave Browser.
GrapheneOS It's eventually planned but our priority is GrapheneOS users and we've had a bad experience with trying to release some of our apps outside GrapheneOS which didn't seem to benefit the project. We definitely wouldn't be willing to do it before Vanadium has a bunch of additional features we know many people want to make sure it was well received outside of GrapheneOS.
DeletedUser67 GrapheneOS Nice to hear and understandable. You mentioned before that Vanadium will be worked on after overhauling of the AOSP Apps, does that mean that if Vanadium is done, that it could be eventually published then?
