Screen Record won’t record audio

Yikes, I might open one up sorry.
Just had this call. After 10-15 minutes there were interrupts where the sound turned off for few seconds and the counterpart couldn't hear me either.
Then 10 minutes later we ended the conversation after which I noticed the crashes.

TGOS Oh, so if i understand u correctly the crash(es) didn't abrupt the call, but it did stop/corrupt the recording? Not that i can help very much but thought it may help if someone who does has more information.

I fugured out that the crashes occur when the smartphone get locked.
While recording the call my phone went to locked. Afterwards it asked for fingerprint to unlock and I saw a current nofification about that

Problem with no audio still occuring - Pixel 8a

can't record audio either. No updates on a fix for this yet?

Pixel 9 pro GOS version 2025112101 with security preview releases enabled, having the same issue. System audio is not recorded when using the built-in screen recorder. Maybe the option could be disabled temporarily until it gets fixed to prevent people from relying on it? AFAIU it's a GOS bug, not AOSP?
