Hi, I’m trying to get the stock screen record to work.
It will not record system audio. It will record mic but no system audio. I downloaded another app and it’s the same. It will record screen but no audio. I have gone through settings, but can not find any settings for screen record. As a side note, phone call recorder works. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Thanks
Screen Record won’t record audio
I have the same problem on the same phone. I am talking with the airmusic developer and they said there is a bug in Graphene OS that is causing this that has been reported but I was unable to locate a bug in the issue tracker. Upstream also had an issue where when the screen is locked the audio cuts out. That fix is working its way to devicss slowly now but still hasn't landed on the pixel 8 pro. I'm hoping once it lands in upstream and is brought into Graphene it fixes the problem as well but if it doesn't and I can't find another bug I'll likely open one.
Here is the upstream bug: https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/369904692
TrithCrazier Did you turn off the permission to access the microphone?
It's not really bothering me, but this is also occuring on my pixel 9 pro.
I also made a thread about this... Pixel 7a.
It appears there is a bug, thanks to the Airmusic developer for pointing it out, https://github.com/GrapheneOS/os-issue-tracker/issues/4614 where the issue was closed as "not planned," I bumped it for clarification.
Providing an update for all interested, I have another Pixel 8 Pro that is on stock and in the last day it received two updates the final update: AP4A.250105.002 fixed the problem I was experiencing so I expect it to work its way through to GOS soon enough!
Looks like whatever fix happened in Android was already applied to GrapheneOS and i've since received another update. This looks to be a bug directly in GOS at this stage.

The flow of code from Google to AOSP is very different from the flow of code from Google to devices running the stock OS. Sometimes GrapheneOS is ahead. Only people watching change logs on both sides are in a position to predict when something will move where.

That is very unlikely.
Code that landed from the bug I linked made its way to my device and airmusic is now working again.

Looks like it was a GOS bug...
No audio in screen recorder for me. Pixel 7 pro.
No audio for me either.
