I'm experiencing a very strange issue. When I run audio through either a USB-C to audio jack or via Bluetooth in a car, the audio signal begins violently stuttering, and is basically unusable. When this occurs, the phone (Pixel 9) heats up and the quick settings tiles become non-responsive until the phone is rebooted. This occurs in two separate cars with two separate audio cables (when attempting via USB-C to audio jack). Here's the really strange part. This occurs with the vast majority of apps that I use (VLC, Spotify, Voice Audiobook player, just to name a few). HOWEVER, when I use either Antennapod or Pocketcast apps, the audio plays perfectly fine. I have tried a multitude of apps and only these two podcast apps seem to play audio normally via these external methods. Even stranger, when I connect headphones to the USB-C to audio adapter, the audio from all apps is normal. So, I am only experiencing the stuttering when in a car and with most, but not all apps.. It's totally bizarre and I'm completely stumped as to why this is happening. I've experimented with a bunch of settings, including disabling battery optimization for the offending apps and I've experimented with various USB and bluetooth settings on the phone. Nothing I've done has made a difference. Does this issue ring a bell for anyone? I've never used the stock OS so I can't say whether this is a GrapheneOS problem, however, I did not experience anything like this with an iPhone in the same context. It's a bit of a deal breaker for me as I spend a lot of time in the car. Any help would be very much appreciated.
