I recently made a work profile and installed Whatsapp for work , but I keep receiving a message saying I need to download the correct version of Whatsapp and I have downloaded it from their website. Is anyone else having this problem? It's never given me and issue in the past but now I can't login with the sms code

Don't update via aurora. Just use play store and all good. Same goes for viber. They will block your number if you don't Use play store or a official apk

    My question is if WhatsApp wasn't meant to be used without Google Play, why would they provide a direct download link on their website? Issue is somewhere else. Admit, I haven't tried version from there in the last few weeks but I never encountered problems of the kind reported here. Telling other people to utilize Play Services just to make something work is contra privacy and should be suggested only as a last resort.

    user539 Ive tried everything....from Whatsapp official website and aurora. I contacted support and they said the same message abkhr customs ROMS not being supported. I think it's something new. A month ago it worked fine but 2 weeks ago it's been giving me a problem

        Torvesper00 can you download the older version that worked for you previously, log in if it allows you, and then update to the newest version?
