Lock Screen Clock and Time Overlap on v2024120900

On GOS v2024120900, the clock and date now overlap instead of having space between them. Anyone else seeing this?

EDIT1: Sorry that I can't figure out how to get that image to display directly in the post.
EDIT2: I just noticed that the overlap happens when the screen is really locked -- when the lock screen is live (i.e., when I pick up the phone), the space between the clock and date reappears.

Interestingly I don't see this on my Pixel 7 Pro. Tried with and without home screen notifications and it appears as expected. Perhaps you've changed a setting that doesn't display well with the new update?

Repeatedly pressing the on/off button shows that the fingerprint icon is also moved up/down a bit

Very peculiar, but the artefact has disappeared for me just now.
Could it be time dependant?

Stephan-P Possibly. I use a 24-hour clock so perhaps that's why I was unaffected. If it happens again switch to 24-hour and see if it changes anything.

yore 24 hour format here all along. This morning the time was overlapping the date again.
Note that it's the time that is moving about. The date has a fixed position.

it looks like they merged a fix for other things that are supposed to fix this. Scheduled for the 18th?

And, oddly, as @Stephan-P noted, the issue seems to have disappeared as of this evening. I'll check in the morning and see if it's time dependent.

For the moment, it appears they will release an update with the fixes today with the build number 2024121200, though it could of course be delayed. https://github.com/GrapheneOS/grapheneos.org/blob/main/static/releases.html#L543-L564

Just glanced at the lock screen clock and it's overlaid on the date again (9:38pm). The numbers don't appear to be any different. So, I have no idea why the overlapping comes and goes.
