Hi, currently using a Pixel 7 with Android 13 with latest build and GrapheneOS beta.

The Autofill features of the Pixel phone do not seem to be working with GrapheneOS beta for Pixel 7. IDK if this is a known issue, a new issue, or just my issue. I am using the 1Password app and I enabled AUTOFILL in both the Android settings, the 1Password settings, and several different browsers in an attempt to get it working, Brave, Firefox, Chrome. None of them show the 1Password button for autofilling. Is this an issue specific to GrapheneOS, or to the beta version? Is there a way to resolve this?

Unfortunately, there are no xlsx readers on F-Droid, as LibreOffice only shows a blank page when loading xlsx sheets. And <every single app> I've downloaded off the PLAYSTORE that is an xlsx reader only works right after downloading it, and after a couple of hours, tries to access PLAY and bugs out giving me a, "File Parsing Error" and won't load. Is there any way around this?

Finally, is there a way to check which version of GrapheneOS I have installed? Does GrapheneOS automatically update, or do I have to flash each time? And if I have to manually install, will I lose all my data?

Thanks for any answers ahead of time!

Not sure how to edit on these forums. I went to About Phone, Build Number, and I see I have the latest stable version of GrapheneOS for Pixel 7, so apparently it auto updates without the need for flashing, so I answered my own last question, thank you.

taemex I have seen several threads in these forums regarding password autofill not working with Vanadium, but I can't speak to the other browsers. I use KeepassDX for password management and its magikeyboard input does work with Vanadium and other browsers, but that may not be of much help to you unless you're in the market for a new password manager.

As for the XLSX files, I've had very good success with Collabora Office (Homepage, Play Store, Direct Download).

So far so good with Collabora Office! I can't thank you enough for the suggestion! I reset my phone a couple of times and it still works without the parsing error so, I pending a full 24hr test, it is working so far.

Re KeePassDX, I was using that and it was actually really nice as both a password manager and bookmark manager, but I decided on 1Password just because I like it slightly more. Having said that, upon reading a few posts on autofill, it's clear to me that the autofill works through the Google Play store and because it's sandboxed, the autofill function is very spotty to almost being broken. This is unfortunate as I spent a lot of time getting my 1Password database setup how I wanted, and Rain.IO for my bookmarks, but I am in contact with the developers of 1Password so, we'll see if they can't come up with a solution. Thanks for your help mythodical.

I still hope that vanadium adds a patch similar to Bromite which makes autofill work.

Has been an issue on their GitHub but somehow it got closed again
