Hello,
I have had Graphene OS installed on a brand new Pixel 7 pro for just over a week, and the camera decided to stop working today. When I open the camera app, it opens up normally, but it just shows a black screen where you'd expect to see the photo you're trying to take. The toggles that let you adjust the zoom in and contrast work. It's just behaving as if there's something in front of the camera. Anyone have any ideas for troubleshooting?

If it's a brand-new device one possibility is a manufacturing defect. Though this would be very inconvenient, one thing to try would be flashing the device back to Google's OS. If the camera is still bad then, it will clearly be a hardware failure.

But maybe other people will have less-disruptive suggestions. For example, you could long-press on the Camera icon, pick App info, then wipe the cache and storage.
