Looks like ProtonVPN immediately connects to an available internet connection over WiFi or Ethernet even if it was specifically disconnected when used last. So does another VPN service I use, which even tells me it cannot disconnect when I want it to, because it's set to always on (and connections blocked without VPN clearly).
As far as I can tell, it's doing this at least with Ethernet across profiles, without me noticing. If ProtonVPN connects in one profile (even if not Owner), it connects in all profiles.
Is there a way to stop it from connecting and actually make it keep all profiles where it was disconnected offline?
Does Orbot also do this? Does hitting End session all the time change this? (except for Owner clearly)
Any other solution?
