Hey all, so I have a couple of 5+ year old google voice accounts that I've used for 'throwaway' type of activity (number at the grocery store for the savings card or when I shop online or the barber, etc...)
I've been running both a graphene phone and an iphone for a bit and have kept google voice installed on my iphone so I can use it regularly. However, I'm attempting to consolidate to one device, just my graphene pixel, and I'm trying to figure out the best way to still be able to use google voice without play services.
I figured I could pull the emails from those accounts into something like thunderbird or fairemail so I know when I receive an SMS or voicemail. However, if I do need to place an outgoing call using google voice, I'm not sure how to do that without the app. Perhaps I install the app in a separate profile with play services?
Anyway, if anyone has better ideas or alternate voip options (that aren't pricey, although everything costs more than the $0 google voice charges) please do let me know!
