Also good to point out that asks for passcode != BFU. There should be some text saying “Touch ID requires your passcode when iPhone restarts.” Or something to the effect.

72 hours to reboot, that's an eternity...
My GrapheneOS 6a is set at 2 hours.
I have a 14 digit passcode and no fingerprint access. A rebooted phone from AFU to BFU makes no difference access wise to me.

DeletedUser10 I agree that 72 hours is unnecessarily long, but do you have any particular reason for setting it to 2 hours ? Or is it just that it works well for you ?

It has been tested and proven that iPhones running iOS 18 or later automatically reboot after 72 hours of being locked. Cellural/Wifi/Bluetooth/Any connectivity doesn't affect it at all. I think this is a cool feature, and finally Apple did something good.
