double tipping on display for standby

Hi All,
in lineage 14 there was an option like "double klick on display" to shut down the display.
Equivalent to click on display to wake up....
Is there any method to blank screen, standby scree without using the power button?

You can install a different launcher like mLauncher or Lawnchair or Neolauncher or use an extra app for that. Preferably one that offers a widget. I use both versions on two devices respectively.

Pineapple is the app I'm using.

This feature requires accessibility access provided to a third party app which is not recommended from security perspective. Why not just use the power button?

If the phone is lying on the desk you can tip it to wake up and to shutoff the screen.
I think this is a really nice feature. Pressing the button takes longer and is more "complicated"
(This feature gets important if you have a desease like parkinson and such. Just tipping is a relief then.)
And I don't want to wear out the power button.

So this feature was available in Android 15 but removed for Graphene?
Ok, if it is due to security considerations that is fine with me.

panspectron You will need to install another launcher. The ones I mentioned are available on GitHub I think. I used Obtainium to keep them up to date.

Graphene only has its standard launcher which does not allow tap to screen off. It is a potential threat, but then again I'm not concerned about every possible attack surface. Would make me paranoid.
