It always depends on what you want to achieve. Aurora Store is sometimes criticized for being unreliable (not their fault). Also you'll have to trust them as another party on top of trusting Google (as they only pull the apks from Google Play Store).
Since you already want to log in with an account and assuming it's not a throwaway account, I'd go with Play Store to avoid having to trust the Aurora devs with my Google account login.
If you simply don't like having Sandboxes Play Services collecting data from apps that use them, you could use the owner profile to install your apps via Play Store and then push them to a user profile where you actually use them. This would increase both security and privacy compared to doing everything in the owner profile with Aurora Store while being logged in to Google.
In the end it's all up to you. I used Aurora Store as a main appstore for a while (but without an account). It was convenient and worked for me and my threat model back then. Once you made a good threat model for yourself, you'll find the best answer for your specific situation.
