rellhom NathanBeltran I don't even think these exist anymore in my country., and I think these apps want sms verification anyways.
NathanBeltran rellhom Street/public phones do support SMS as a legacy feature: the SMS text is read out to you over the phone. I've done it for years. You must have landline phones in hotel lobbies etc. I'm surprised you don't.
rellhom NathanBeltran I'll take a look at the hotel nearby, do these require a coin to use usually, and anyone can randomly answer it? but anyways, this is off topic to my original question, can any apps possibly see the phone number of the installed sim?
rellhom DeletedUser69 those with phone permission can. ok, so none other without this specific permission then?
Probably9857 rellhom DeletedUser69 In addition to Phone, there are SMS and Call logs permissions that would allow phone number to be read.
DeletedUser69 Probably9857 it may appear so but without the Phone permission you don't get access to SMS or Call logs. It doesn't work the other way around.
Probably9857 DeletedUser69 Hmm, well I can definitely grant or deny those independently. Can you provide a source for that?
DeletedUser69 Probably9857 I don't have sources apart from experience but provide the name of the app where you do that and I will try and explain it to you
