BootLooping after update/low battery.

I run into boot looping if I have a low battery or restart for an OS update. The solutions I discovered only work intermittently. I have to either go into ABD and force a fast boot, or if I'm on the road away from the PC, I have to put the device on a charger, hold the volume down button, head into the bootloader, restart the bootloader, head into recovery/rescue mode, and restart the phone to get into the OS without it boot looping.

Running the latest stable build on Pixel 6 Pro.

Has anyone else with this issue found a workaround or found a more permanent fix for this issue?

Dat_Random_Fur It sounds as if perhaps the battery is getting old, so that it crashes when it's near the bottom, or maybe as if the charge controller is making mistakes.

What is the battery's cycle count? Settings, About phone, Battery information.

de0u Could be the battery. Says I have 822 cycles, but that doesn't seem right to me

Dat_Random_Fur I think that's a lot. If you have a repair shop nearby, maybe describe the symptoms and see what they say.

I took an update today and my phone auto reboots now too! I don't know if it's related, but I'm using my Hotspot when it just shuts down and reboots. Also, unsure if related but I use Proton VPN but lately it seems to auto turn off ALL the time (especially when trying to use newpipe).

EDIT: my battery was NOT low 74% (I believe it was actually plugged in on 1 reboot)

When I click on check for updates, my phone appears as if I have the latest update as clicking on the 'tap to check for updates' does nothing. Also,i have auto reboot the phone unchecked for the time being but I'm continuing auto reboots. I'm up to 9 or so on the past hour and a half :/

Does 800 that fix the issue? How can I get my phone to take it if it doesn't see it?
