No 90hz after Android 15 update

Hello everyone. I recently updated my pixel 7a to A15 (stable channel). But after that, the "smooth display" option in the screen section doesn't work and I have to force 90hz throught the developper option. Anyone faced that issue ?

Bachi Smooth Display appears for the Pixel 7a in our testing lab in Settings > Display > Other display controls as the 2nd entry. It's right underneath Auto-rotate screen. It doesn't show up for you? Check again after turning off developer options as a whole, which could be related to why it's not showing up.

GrapheneOS yeah the option is displayed but when I toggle it on, the refresh rate stays at 60hz.

AlphaElwedritsch I noticed this because even with the smooth display option enabled, the refresh rate wasn't smooth at all (it's obvious to the naked eye and I verified this impression by enabling the "show frame rate" option in the developer settings, and bingo u was at 60hz). Noticing this, I activated the "force peak refresh" option in the developer settings and 90hz came back. I don't understand why this is happening.
