Grkrz Can't confirm. Running smoothly in Private Space.
DeletedUser5 now is not. Not sure why it was before
No issues so far with P8
Wow @GrapheneOS Team you are realy fast... 🙌 thank you so much. Just try the New version. Untill now without error
Will this version be the stable one?
Is already in Beta now so it looks good 🤷
GOS21606 soon, there are a few tests left in alpha and beta
How much time now to get it into Stable?, I am so eagerly waiting for Android 15 🥹. The team has been working real good and fast though.
I don't mind it taking some time.
The longer it takes, the more stable it'll be.
Absolutely. I second this. It doesn't matter how long or how many pre-release Alpha/ Beta it takes before we get a stable. We will still have Android 15 way before than a lot of those major 3rd Vendors out there. We have the up to date monthly security patch, the devices are secure and stable. Let the team do their work.
Yeah, I am all for stability. I was just curious. I am trying to get hold of a secondary Pixel phone so that I can contribute to the testing myself.
Bug probably introduced by something done related to
- drop existing "Send device name" setting value for all Wi-Fi networks to start from our default of disabled for all users including people who updated to the Beta and Alpha releases already (we already switched the default to off for new networks in 2024101800)
- Settings: fix upstream Android 15 bug causing a crash for the network privacy menu when the AP name has special characters
I have restricted my WiFi to only allow certain Mac adresses and devices.
In the settings I saw that the device MAC would be used for my network but I am 100% sure that it was "per-network randomized MAC" before the update, because I remember I did it that way a year ago and I couldnt find the device-MAC Adress in my Allow-list.
If I look in the list in settings, which MAC Adresses are used for which networks, all is fine with the other networks, they still have the correct settings they had last time.
since this update i am unable to unlock my private space because it does not accept my device pin. if i try typing it in the device will lock itself, but can be unlocked normally with biometrics or pin. but private space stays locked...
hihahu Did you give private space the same PIN as your regular profile?
Regardless, it often fails for me if I type too fast. 'Wrong pin'. So I type more slowly. But I guess that is not the problem here.
DeletedUser5 yes same pin and it used to work just befofe the update
I rebooted, still with version 2024101900 and had per network random mac switched to device mac again for my network.
I updated to 2024102000 and it switched again.
