Will GrapheneOS on Android 16 (yes, in a year) support virtualization?

Hi, there are rumors that Android 16 (yes, the next upcoming release in a year) will have amazing support for virtualization, with a seamlessly integrated Linux environment available. Will GrapheneOS have it? I've heard that you're waiting for virtualizationv support to include some custom cool features - if yes, then what are they?

GGORG Android already does virtualization. Not sure what good GPU acceleration will bring mobile phone users... Other than more restrictions and licensing.

GGORG There's already hardware accelerated virtualization on the Pixel 6 and later. There's just not an app included for users to make much use of it yet.

That link and its primary source (another journalist) are only speculating that it could possibly be introduced in Android 16. No one from Google is saying that. Or if they are, those articles don't mention it.

That speculation is based on the following facts:

Google is working on a terminal app in AOSP
They've apparently been testing that app on 9th gen Pixel hardware

It would be cool if that turns out to be true, but I'm not getting too carried away just yet.

Can you link to the specific tweet where he shows proof? (Although I can't imagine what would constitute "proof" of what Google will do a year from now.)

I'm just reading the articles linked by the OP. I'm taking the articles at face value, but even the authors don't say that this will definitely or likely be in Android 16 - only that it is possible. Sure, anything is possible.
