Hi,
I am conscious about the privacy of my physical activity. Could someone confirm if I have no apps accessing Physical Activity Sensors then the information such as steps, running and walking activity will never not only leave the phone, but won't even be captured by Graphene OS itself?

This is my current config:

Thanks in advance.

I personally disable sensor permission directly for all apps that do not explicitly need them.

According to Android documentation, this permission gives access to two different sensors: a step counter and a step detector.

Apparently, the step counter counts steps since the last reboot, according to this page. But only apps with access to that permission can get the step count since reboot. Like your screenshot says, no apps have access to that number.

Also, as Standardwaste said, you can also revoke every app's sensors permission too.

unwat Do you know if Graphene OS itself collects steps anywhere in the hidden manner?

Sorry for the delay, I'm on a trip to the other side of the world and jetlagged.

Only apps listed have access or use step counts. GOS apps cannot secretly gain access to this data.
