m4ri0g are you using incognito? I think you need to do the search in a "normal" tab for it to show up

I have no explanation on why it wouldn't work in your case other then what DeletedUser124 said.

I just tested it myself in vanadium and it works, it should work like that on all chromium-based browsers.

I just signed up for a starter account with kagi.
Yeah, it's paid. It offers some nice features but tbh I am not sure other free options don't offer the same.
So far I like it, and the results are _so refreshing!

I'm going to ride with it a few months and see if I can get away from Google.

Reddit has turned kind of evil too from their beginnings. I noticed also when doing a search on Mullvad Browser using the mullvad leta search engine, I searched for reddit posts and the search engine gave them, but when I clicked to go to reddit to read them I was blocked by reddit.

Lemmy is more private but manages to be even more evil than Reddit on every other aspect. It's tough...

rellhom There are frontends for Reddit that work. Just replace www.reddit.com with redlib.perennialte.ch in the url.

rellhom it manages to be even more censored, biased, intolerant and discriminatory. It comes from the devs themselves but as far as I know it's not built into the platform, so if you decide to create a deviant server I don't think you can be "unfederated" or something like that. But that's speculation.
