Fresh install -- camera defaults to 4:3

Is there a reason why the default for the camera is 4:3 instead of 16:9?

johnblue because at 4:3 the whole sensor is being used. 16:9 is nothing more than a letterbox cutout from that 4:3 image.

sigh .. yet another rabbit hole to go down to find out why. heh. Thanks for the reply Stephan-P.
