I know Olauncher has this alternative, where you tap the screen twice to lock it. Is there a built on GOS feature of this? If no, will it be implemented?
Is there a Tap Twice To Lock function?
No, and I would not count on implementation any time soon. Several custom launches indeed offer the option (including Lawnchair, Nova and Kvaesitso) but the price is high: they require full device access.

Clark I am using Pineapple from FDroid. Using the widget on the homescreen so that the complete upper half can be used to lock. One tap, and it locks. With fingerprint still working.

Even if your question is aimed at something else, just fyi: - KISS Launcher also offers the option to lock screen by double-taping it (it requires access to accessibility under Settings> Accessibility).
I feel like GOS could benefit from this feature, no? Like a fast way to lock your phone as a privacy act... Thoughts?
You could just press the power button to lock the device.
Emerald Exactly. How is tapping the screen multiple times easier or more reliable than pressing the hardware power button once?
hemlockiv automakers seem to differ. It's getting normalized to use gigantic screens everywhere instead of a simple button press; so I understand where they are coming from.
DeletedUser87 How in the world is that relevant to Graphene, which runs exclusively on Pixels?
hemlockiv because you asked "how is it faster to tap a screen" and I told you why everyone is accustomed to that. Because screens are shoved everywhere and cars are at the forefront of this nonsensical development.
....anyway. The app Tap Tap is probably what you're looking for Clark. You can get it from https://github.com/KieronQuinn/TapTap with Obtainium. Works best in conjunction with Shizuku, but I know that's a contentious app round these parts.
