storage space

Hey everyone,
If I wanted to get the pixel 7 pro would i be fine with the basic 128gb I try not to have many things saved on my phone!

[deleted] I would think that you would be fine. I using a P6 with 128GB and am nowhere close to using all the storage space.

madduke Not me. I am moving from a 512GB iPhone and have already almost run out of space on my P6 with 128GB.

chuck The OP said they don't store a lot on their device and neither do I. Music takes up the bulk of my storage. With devices that may need to be reset I only keep stuff that's backed up on my phone.

Hey diaboliquepsychotea,

I am using a Pixel 6 with 128 GB. At the moment settings says:

system: 13 GB
audio: 15 GB (my favorite music bands)
apps: 14 GB
all the rest: ~ 550 MB

So, I am far away from 128 GB. But that's because I do move regularly my pics and videos to my desktop computer and I am not a heavy user. I know people, who store their years old pics and videos just on the smartphone and have about one hundred apps on it. With this behaviour you will reach on every device (which has no extra sd card slot like the pixels, but even then ;) ) the limit sooner or later.

I have the complete wikipedia, maps for several countries and a few gigs of music and a bunch of apps.
still 40GB of 128GB left.

It really depends on what you want to do with it I guess.
